Gilbert Domally

My name is Gil, and I have the privilege of serving as the Director of Olmsted County Child and Family Services (CFS). In this role, I lead our department in supporting youth and families through thoughtful and innovative practices, with a strong focus on family strengths and early intervention. 

I joined Olmsted County in 2022 and previously worked as a Program Manager for the Family Support Team within CFS. My professional journey spans more than 25 years, during which I’ve had the honor of serving children and families in many different ways. My experience includes: 

• Youth counseling 
• Fatherhood programming 
• Early intervention and child protection case management 
• Child welfare program management 

These experiences have shaped my passion for helping families thrive and for building systems that truly support their needs. I’m committed to leading with integrity, collaboration, and compassion, and I’m excited about continuing to strengthen our services for the community.
