For counties across Minnesota, this legislation represents a long‑awaited opportunity to upgrade core human services systems that staff rely on daily, many of which are more than three decades old. The modernization effort aims to improve efficiency, support residents more effectively, and ensure human services staff have tools that reflect current technology standards.

Beginning Friday, September 18, 2026, eligible voters in Minnesota can vote absentee for the November 3, 2026, General Election. Absentee ballots can be requested through the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State. There are several ways to vote absentee during this 46-day period.

Shannon DeHeve is a former participant in the Dodge & Olmsted (D&O) Community Corrections probation program. Through D&O Community Corrections, DeHeve received support from her probation officer, Jenna McMillan, and connected services including treatment for co‑occurring disorders, long‑term sober living, outpatient care, and mental health support.
