Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) – Public notice and request for public comment

Olmsted County is inviting public comment on the use of federal Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) funds. Counties are required to make SSBG information available to the public and provide opportunities for community feedback on how these funds support local programs and services. This process helps ensure transparency and supports planning for services that meet the needs of children, youth, families, and vulnerable adults.

About SSBG
The Social Services Block Grant is a federal program that helps states and counties fund a wide range of services, including child protection, case management, family support, and services for vulnerable adults. Olmsted County uses SSBG funding to support community‑based services that promote safety, stability, and well‑being.
