Tiffany Kacir
Associate Director of Olmsted County Child and Family Services
My name is Tiffany, and I serve as the Associate Director of Olmsted County Child and Family Services (CFS). In this role, I help guide the strategic direction of the department, support program development and implementation, and ensure that we deliver high-quality services for children and families across Olmsted County. I also manage a combination of staff and supervisors who are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community.
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the State of Minnesota and have been connected to Olmsted County for a combined 17 years, including 12 years as a county employee and 5 years as contracted staff. Most recently, I served as a Program Manager in Child and Family Services, where I helped oversee:
- Family childcare licensing
- Child foster care licensing
- Adoption and post-adoption support programs
My journey with Olmsted County began as an intern in the Concurrent Planning Unit, and over the years, I’ve held roles as a case manager in Children’s Mental Health and later in Ongoing Child Protection. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the department’s work and a strong commitment to serving children and families.
I’m committed to building systems that empower families and give every child the chance to thrive. I’d love to hear from you—your questions, ideas, and feedback are always welcome.
It’s an honor to serve in this role and to work alongside such a dedicated team.
