Women Veteran Fishing Trip

When: June 1-6, 2025

This event is being sponsored by Time on the Water and DAV of Minnesota - Mayo Southeast Chapter 28. It will only be offered to 10 women. Guests are responsible to get to the lodge, transportation to and from the lodge is not provided. Meals, lodging, and fishing gear is included. You must have a passport or enhanced ID. There is a $7 fee to cross into Canada, guests will be responsible for this fee. Each guest will be responsible for paying for and applying for their own fishing license. Non-Resident Fishing License: 8-day fishing license cost is $71.13 per Veteran. An 8-day license is the shortest time frame for purchase.

*Disabled women veterans out of the DAV Chapter 28 catchment area will be considered. This will be a random lottery, and names drawn accordingly, and each chosen will be notified as soon as final.

*The deadline for sign up is April 13, and names will be drawn by Monday, April 14 after the regular DAV meeting.
* Notification will be sent out Tuesday, April 15.
*Saturday, April 19th will be the planning meeting with Time on the Water, at VFW 1215 located at 2775 43rd St NW, Rochester, MN 55901. You must be able to attend to get the information for the trip.
