Our work is done through assessing the health and environments of individuals and communities, implementing educational programs, conducting research, and recommending policies that promote health. We are proud to be accredited by the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). Achieving PHAB accreditation means our department meets and maintains a rigorous set of nationally recognized, practice-focused, and evidence-based standards.
