New video! Red Hawk homes – Building opportunity in Olmsted County

Olmsted County is taking bold steps to make homeownership more accessible—and you can see how in our latest video.

The video highlights the success of the Red Hawk homes project, a creative initiative by the Olmsted County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) to build high-quality, affordable homes for local families. 

With 10 homes completed quickly and cost-effectively, the project proved that affordability doesn’t have to mean sacrificing quality. Through partnerships with First Homes and the community land trust, the homes remain affordable for future generations – helping to build a stronger, more resilient community. 

And this is just the beginning. A new development, Woodcrest, is already underway, offering even more opportunities for affordable homeownership in Olmsted County.
