Lake Zumbro Construction

An open house will be held on Thursday October 23rd from 6-8pm at The Pondy restaurant and bar in the banquet room.

Lake Zumbro drawn down will begin October 15, 2025, with a target drop of 6 feet for 14 days. Please visit the Rochester Public Utilities website for more information.

Construction at Lake Zumbro Park on the boat launch and parking lot will begin October 15, 2025.  Lanes to and from the docks and boat launch will remain open while there is still potential access to the lake.  Once the lake is drawn down too low to safely launch a boat, the launch will be closed for rehabilitation.  The launch will open again upon safe water levels until the end of the open water season when the lake begins to freeze over. 

Construction of the launch and parking area is anticipated to be complete prior to Memorial Day.
