CSAH 1 (CSAH 47 to CSAH 16) Reconstruction Project

Project Description: Olmsted County is leading a project to realign and reconstruct approximately three miles of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 1 from the CSAH1/CSAH 47 roundabout to CSAH 16 in Simpson.

Anticipated project schedule: Spring 2025- Winter 2026 - Design and Right of Way Acquisition | Spring 2027 - Construction

Open House #2 – February 3rd, 2026: Olmsted County hosted an open house from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Olmsted County Public Works Service Center (1188 50th Street SE, Rochester, MN 55904). There was an opportunity to review the project design, anticipated schedule, talk with county staff about the project, and provide comments. Materials shared at the open house are posted below:
