Essential Community Supports

Essential Community Supports (ECS) is a program available to individuals, over the age of 65, who are not eligible for Alternative Care or Elderly Waiver. Individuals applying for ECS do not meet eligibility for Medical Assistance or nursing facility level of care but may qualify for a pre-determined per month funding for services needed to live in the community.

• Chore services
• Homemaking
• Personal Emergency Response System
• Support for caregivers
• Help with household management, such as budgeting and other problem-solving
• Adult day service
• Home-delivered meals
