Community Engagement Partners
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office has always valued being involved in community engagement efforts. Interaction with Olmsted County residents, especially youth, is incredibly valuable to our office. We participate in parades throughout Olmsted County, Rochester’s six Safe City Nights, and events surrounding small-town celebrations in Rochester, Stewartville, Byron, Eyota, Dover, Viola, and Oronoco. Every one of these events allows us to build positive relationships with Olmsted County residents.
Donations from our partners allow us to buy fun items like sunglasses, mini footballs, lanyards, frisbees, and more for our deputies to bring to events and hand out. These small items can leave a lasting impression on youth and allow them to take something home after a positive interaction. The money would be used to help repair or replace our tent, tables, table covers, games, and other essential community engagement items, as well as helping keep our mascot, Duke, well-groomed.
We want to thank our 2024 Community Engagement Sponsors for their donation and commitment to our community engagement efforts.
