2027-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) open houses
Residents are invited to attend open houses to learn about the 2027–2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and share their comments. The TIP is implemented by the Rochester-Olmsted Council of Governments (ROCOG). It outlines federally funded transportation improvements in the Rochester-Olmsted County metropolitan planning area.

The ROCOG Policy Board will review the draft 2027-2030 TIP during its monthly meeting on August 26, 2026. During this meeting, a public hearing will be conducted allowing anyone an opportunity to provide verbal comments to the board. This meeting will be held at the Olmsted County Public Works Building (1188 50th St SE, Rochester, MN – Conference room 110). The meeting will also be accessible online
A formal open comment period is open through September 16, 2026. During this time, the public is encouraged to submit written comments to Olmsted County Principal Transportation Planner Matthew Tse. Comments may also be mailed to 2122 Campus Drive SE; Suite 100; Rochester, MN, 55904.
The ROCOG Policy Board will consider adoption of the 2027-2030 TIP during its meeting on September 23, 2026, at noon. This meeting will be held at the Olmsted County Public Works Building (1188 50th St SE, Rochester, MN – Conference room 110). The meeting will also be accessible online.
