Julie Brock to join Olmsted County as engagement coordinator
On June 1, 2026, Julie Brock will begin serving as Olmsted County’s engagement coordinator. Brock will report to Director of Policy, Analysis, and Communications Debra Ehret Miller.
In this role, Brock will work to build strong, trusting relationships between the county, its employees, and the community. She will work with many teams to ensure residents in our community have fair access to county services, and, from an employee perspective, will work to enhance a workplace culture focused on inclusion and respect. Brock will also look at county programs to find and fix barriers so our services and workplace can continue to improve.
Brock brings a systems-level mindset to her work, helping individuals, teams, and organizations turn big ideas into meaningful action. Her career background includes K–12 education, workforce development, higher education, and community-based organizations. Brock prides herself on building human-centered systems that support equity and belonging.
