2023 Seasonal Load Restrictions

Olmsted County Public Works is announcing the following road updates beginning this week.

The 2023 seasonal load restrictions for Olmsted County roads will go into effect on Friday, March 10, 2023. 

The weight limit will be posted at each individual county road.  The end of the seasonal load restriction period is no longer fixed at 8 weeks.   It is based on how weather is affecting roadway strength and will be monitored as conditions change.  Therefore, the ending dates for seasonal load restrictions for each road will vary, and the restrictions will remain in effect when the roadway is posted.  Any questions on the weight limit can be answered by calling Olmsted County Public Works at 328-7060.  An interactive map for the 2023 Seasonal Load Restrictions can be found at the following link:
