Construction on CSAH 7 and CR 142 in Eyota includes underground utility work on 5th Street SE. This work is anticipated to occur in mid-July, at which time the road will be closed to traffic and a detour established. An updated press release will be provided prior to road closure.
Rochester Sand & Gravel is the prime contractor for the $4,095,000 project. Construction is anticipated to be complete by October 30, 2021.
Motorists should expect delays and seek alternative routes.
Reminder: All roadway users are reminded to always travel with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones. Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through these work zones.
