Participate in the Olmsted County 2022 Resident Survey

Online survey open to all residents

Beginning today, February 25, 2022, all Olmsted County residents are encouraged to participate in the online version of the 2022 Olmsted County Resident Survey. Surveys are available in three languages: English, Spanish, and Somali.

  • Take the survey in English.
  • Take the survey in Spanish.
  • Take the survey in Somali.

The purpose of this survey is to gain a better understanding of residents’ thoughts and perceptions of life in Olmsted County, as well as their experience with Olmsted County government. Questions are related to quality of life, safety, areas of concern, satisfaction with Olmsted County government, how residents receive information from Olmsted County government, and more.

You may recall that in early February 2022, the 2022 Olmsted County Resident Survey was mailed to 600 randomized households in each commissioner district. Some residents received a mailed survey, and some received a postcard with a weblink to take the survey online. As stated above, now the survey is open to all residents.

Those who previously received a survey in the mail are encouraged to complete that version of the survey. And, if you already completed the hard copy survey, you should not take the survey a second time.

Survey results will be compiled by summer 2022 and shared with the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners. After that, the county will develop action plans based on findings from the survey. Survey results will also be made available to the public.
