Olmsted County announces temporary meeting locations for Board and Committee meetings

August 28, 2025

Olmsted County is announcing temporary changes to locations for several public board and committee meetings beginning September 2, 2025. This is due to the upgrades happening in the shared Council Chambers/Board Room at the Olmsted County Government Center starting August 28, 2025.

County public meetings impacted include:

  • Administrative Committee.
  • Health, Housing & Human Services Committee.
  • Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board.
  • Olmsted County Board of Commissioners.
  • Physical Development Committee.

The first impacted meeting will be the Physical Development Committee at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. The final impacted meeting date has not yet been determined.

While upgrades are occurring in the Council Chambers/Board Room, Olmsted County’s public meetings noted above will be held at 2100 Campus Dr SE in Rochester in the Cascade, Whitewater, and Silver Creek conference rooms. Parking is available on-site for meeting attendees. Residents can join virtually via Microsoft Teams, with meeting materials available in the Documents section of the County’s PrimeGov webpage. Dates and times listed in PrimeGov are accurate for all impacted meetings.

The upgrades to the Council Chambers/Board Room will modernize audiovisual systems, enhance hybrid meeting technology, and improve accessibility, including hearing assistance and captioning services. New lighting, carpeting, and window treatments will also be installed to enhance the overall meeting experience. These improvements reflect Olmsted County’s commitment to providing accessible, transparent, and reliable public meetings for all residents.
