Olmsted County Soil and Water Conservation District 2026 Tree Sales Program is now open.

The 2026 Olmsted County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Annual Tree Sale is now open to the public! Each year, the SWCD offers bundles of 20 to 25 bare root trees and shrubs (2-3 years old) at affordable prices. These trees are great for homestead windbreaks, living snow fences, and creating wildlife habitats, while also adding color and beauty to your property.

Residents are encouraged to use the Tree Sales website to purchase their trees and shrubs. If you are unable to access the website, orders can also be placed in person at our office, located at 1188 50th St SE, Rochester, between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A full description of the trees and shrubs available can be found on Olmsted County’s website. Trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis and the sale will remain open until all trees and shrubs are sold out. Orders typically arrive for pick-up in mid to late April at Graham Park, located at 1407 3rd Avenue SE in Rochester. Detailed pick-up instructions will be sent to customers closer to the pick-up date.

Watch for the return of the ever-popular annual live native plant kit and seed mix sale opening in mid-December 2025, just in time for Christmas.
