Roadway reconstruction work on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 21 continuing May 4
Roadway reconstruction work on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 21 is scheduled to resume beginning May 4, 2026, depending on weather. The project is moving into the final stages with aggregate placement and fine grading beginning the week of May 4 and concrete surfacing and bituminous shouldering happening shortly after. Fitzgerald Excavating & Trucking is the prime contractor on the reconstruction project.
CSAH 21 will be closed during these final stages, and an official detour will be provided as shown on the map below. The closure is anticipated to remain in place until the middle of August 2026.

Motorists are reminded to always drive with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones. Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through these work zones.
