Oxbow Park Disabled American Veterans (DAV) archery deer hunt

The Olmsted County Parks and Trails department will be hosting a Disabled American Veterans (DAV) archery hunt at Oxbow Park. The DAV hunt will be from October 31 to November 30, 2025.

The park will remain open during the hunt. Use caution when walking on the trails. We recommend all hikers wear bright colors while hiking.

The purpose of the hunt is to harvest a sufficient number of animals to keep the herd healthy and manageable. Please see our Controlled Hunting Opportunities webpage for more information.
