Oxbow Park Disabled American Veterans (DAV) archery deer hunt

The Olmsted County Parks and Trails department is hosting a Disabled American Veterans (DAV) archery hunt at Oxbow Park October 29 to November 30, 2026. 

The park will remain open during the hunt. Hikers should use caution when walking on the trails and should wear bright colors.

The purpose of the hunt is to harvest a sufficient number of animals to keep the herd healthy and manageable. Please see our Controlled Hunting Opportunities webpage for more information.
