Bituminous overlay project on County Roads (CR) 114 and 118 starting June 11, 2025

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Olmsted County Public Works will begin a bituminous overlay project on June 11, 2025, with an expected completion date of July 3, 2025, weather permitting. This includes milling the existing bituminous roadway, repaving, and installing new pavement markings on CR 114 and CR 118, as shown on the map below. Rochester Sand and Gravel is the prime contractor for the project.

Traffic will be maintained on each roadway through the duration of the project and will be controlled using flagging operations. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternative routes.
