Left turn lane project on County State Aid Highways (CSAH) 25 and 9, starting May 11, 2026
Olmsted County Public Works is beginning a left turn lane installation project on May 11, 2026. This includes bituminous shoulder and concrete pavement removal, concrete paving, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades, and restriping the intersections of CSAH 25 (Salem Rd SW) with County Road (CR) 125 (Maywood Rd SW) and CSAH 9 (College View Rd E) with CSAH 11 (50th Ave SE). The work is expected to be completed by the beginning of September 2026, weather permitting. Doyle Conner Company is the prime contractor for the project.
Traffic will be maintained on both CSAH 25 and CSAH 9, with a closure on CR 125 and CSAH 11. A detour will be provided for the closure on CSAH 11. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternative routes.
Reminder: Always travel with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones. Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through work zones.
