Open house for CSAH 1 realignment and reconstruction project

County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 1 Realignment and Reconstruction Project

Olmsted County is hosting an open house on August 10, 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Olmsted County Public Works Service Center (1188 50th Street SE, Rochester, MN 55904) for CSAH 1 realignment and reconstruction project. A project location map is located below.

The Olmsted County Public Works department is developing plans for the reconstruction of CSAH 1 in Pleasant Grove Township. The project, which is scheduled for construction during the summer of 2028, will include pavement removal, grading, drainage improvements, and concrete surfacing. Proposed roadway improvements include widening existing shoulders and ditches to enhance safety and improve drainage. Additional right of way along the length of the project will need to be acquired.
The open house will allow stakeholders to view the project materials, talk with county staff about the project, and provide comment.
