Special Events

Licensing and permits for special events and exhibitions, event camping or ministry services.

Special events within Olmsted County require a permit. Applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event.

Most events and activities within Olmsted County require permits or approvals. All costs associated with the event are to be borne by the event sponsor.

Fireworks Permit

Fireworks Permit

Anyone who engages in a fireworks display within Olmsted County is required to obtain a fireworks permit.

Ministry Credentials

Ministry Credentials

Credentials of Ordination can be filed by mail or in person. Credentials of Ordination must be filed in at least one Minnesota county in order to perform a legal marriage ceremony in this state.
