Tips for celebrating Halloween safely in Olmsted County

This Halloween will be different due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our community remains top priority as we continue to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending that families rethink how they celebrate Halloween this year.

Oxbow Park Disabled American Veterans archery deer hunt

The Olmsted County Parks Department is hosting a Disabled American Veterans (DAV) archery hunt at Oxbow Park from October 23, 2020 to November 29, 2020. Oxbow Park will remain open during the hunt. Use caution when walking the trails.

The purpose of the hunt is to harvest a sufficient number of animals to keep the herd healthy and manageable. More information about controlled hunting opportunities is available on our website
