Olmsted County will be interviewing candidates for open advisory board positions during the month of May 2025. Currently, Olmsted County has openings on the following advisory boards/commissions:
- Chester Sewer Advisory Board
- Olmsted County Parks Commission
- Public Health Services Advisory Board

Advisory board application and interview process
Individuals interested in serving on an Olmsted County advisory board or commission are encouraged to apply at any time. If you’d like to participate in the May interview process, please ensure your application is submitted by April 25, 2025 at 5 p.m.
If you apply for an advisory board position and are selected to move forward to the interview process, you will be contacted with further details about available interview slots.
Advisory board recruitment and interview process
- In-person interviews of potential advisory board candidates will occur twice a year; for 2025, interviews take place in May and October.
- In-person interviews of advisory board candidates will happen outside of county board meetings.
- The full board won’t be interviewing candidates; just two commissioners will take part in the interview process.
