2026-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) open houses
Residents are invited to learn more and comment on the 2026-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) during open houses this week. The TIP, implemented by the Rochester-Olmsted Council of Governments (ROCOG), outlines federally funded transportation improvements in the Rochester-Olmsted County metropolitan planning area.
In-person open houses

The ROCOG Policy Board will review the draft 2026-2029 TIP during its monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at noon. This meeting will be held at 2122 Campus Drive SE in Rochester – Room 186. The meeting will also be available online. During this meeting, a public hearing will be conducted, allowing anyone an opportunity to provide verbal comments to the board.
A formal open comment period is currently open and closes September 15, 2025. During this time, the public is encouraged to submit written comments to Principal Transportation Planner Matt Tse at Matthew.Tse@olmstedcounty.gov or by mail to 2122 Campus Drive SE, Suite 100; Rochester, MN 55904.
The ROCOG 2026-2029 TIP will be considered for adoption at the ROCOG meeting on September 24, 2025, at noon. This meeting will be held at 2122 Campus Drive SE in Rochester – Room 186. The meeting will also be available online.
