Jenna Gilbertson named Olmsted County division administrator of Health, Housing, and Human Services
Olmsted County Associate Director of Child and Family Services Jenna Gilbertson is continuing her career with Olmsted County as division administrator of Health, Housing, and Human Services (HHH). Departments in this division include Adult and Family Services, Child and Family Services, Dodge and Olmsted Community Corrections, Family Support and Assistance, Housing, Public Health, and Veteran Services.
Gilbertson will report to Olmsted County Deputy Administrator of HHH Amy Rauchwarter and will begin her new role on May 5, 2025.
As division administrator of HHH, Gilbertson will become a member of the Olmsted County Executive Management team and will work in partnership with the deputy county administrator to support and guide all departments in the HHH division.
Gilbertson joined Olmsted County in 2016. She has served as the associate director of Child and Family Services for the past three years. Before that, Gilbertson was the Operations Manager for HHH and also worked in Community Corrections. Prior to her work at Olmsted County, she held various roles in other public agencies, including senior leadership positions for the state of New Mexico.
“Jenna is a thoughtful and strategic leader with broad experience in Health, Housing, and Human Services,” noted Rauchwarter. “Her unwavering dedication, leadership, and deep passion for community well-being will continue to guide her as she steps into this new role.”
“The staff in Olmsted County do incredible work that I am honored to be a part of,” stated Gilbertson. “I hold deep values around public service and am passionate about how effective business operations can drive impactful service.”
Gilbertson’s move creates an associate director vacancy for the Child and Family Services department. That position will be posted and filled as soon as possible.
