Welcome to Olmsted County, MN

Olmsted County’s materials recovery facility, or MRF, is continuing to take shape as construction has now entered its seventh month. Through this MRF, recyclables will be sorted so they can be reused instead of thrown away. The MRF will help our community recycle more, keep reusable materials out of the landfill, and support a cleaner environment. 

Olmsted County has officially broken ground on the future CSAH 44 and TH 14 interchange. Learn how this milestone project will improve safety, support regional growth, and strengthen connections west of Rochester.

Olmsted County wants your feedback! The county is inviting residents and community partners to participate in a brief online survey to help assess how the current county website (www.olmstedcounty.gov) is performing. The survey will also gather early input to inform a major website redesign planned for 2028.
