Several additional projects will be funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) following the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners' approval on May 17, 2022.

The commissioners allotted $4.8 million to projects focused on mitigating COVID-19 impacts on vulnerable populations, public works, and county operations.

Beginning Monday, June 27, 2022, work will begin to decommission the steam line under 4th Street SE in Rochester, between the Government Center and the Annex/Work Release building at 104 4th Street SE.
