National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week is an opportunity to remind families that even small amounts of lead can harm a child’s health. Lead exposure continues to affect many communities in Minnesota. Early testing remains one of the most effective ways to keep children safe.

Olmsted County is moving forward with plans to bring an International Clubhouse to the community. The clubhouse model is an evidence‑based mental health model that provides adults living with mental health conditions a place to find connection, purpose, and daily support. The county is working toward a 2027 opening date, with exact timing to be determined. 

Olmsted County wants your feedback! The county is inviting residents and community partners to participate in a brief online survey to help assess how the current county website (www.olmstedcounty.gov) is performing. The survey will also gather early input to inform a major website redesign planned for 2028.
