First Chester Woods E.L.F. event brings holiday cheer and community support
The Employers of Olmsted Light Festival (E.L.F.) at Chester Woods Park concluded its magical three-week run on December 21, 2025. This drive-thru holiday light experience was the first of its kind at Chester Woods and brought joy to thousands while making a meaningful impact on our community.
Event highlights
- Cash donations: More than $22,000 raised to support local non-profits.
- Vehicles: More than 7,000 cars drove through the illuminated campground loop.
- Estimated attendance: More than 24,000 visitors enjoyed the dazzling displays.
- Food donations: 4,820 pounds of non-perishable items collected for local food shelves.
Attendees were invited to vote for their favorite light display, and the winner of the contest was Elcor Construction. Congratulations to them for creating a truly memorable and festive design!
All donated funds will be distributed to non-profit organizations in Olmsted County, ensuring the generosity of our community continues to make a difference this holiday season.
