YMCA and Olmsted County Parks Launch Rochester Y Day Camp Oxbow for Summer 2023
The Rochester YMCA, a leading nonprofit dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, and Olmsted County Parks are offering a day camp experience for youth entering kindergarten through grade 6 this summer.
YMCA Day Camp Oxbow, located at Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo in Byron, Minnesota, provides youth with an opportunity to enjoy fun outdoor adventures. In partnership with Olmsted County Parks, campers will visit Zollman Zoo and learn from park naturalists to further their connection to the natural environment. Additional activities include arts and crafts, archery, camp songs, games, daily access to the two-acre Path of Imagination Playscape and more.
Before and after care is provided at Gibbs Elementary School. Bus transportation is also offered each day to campers. YMCA Day Camp Oxbow is open to the community. YMCA membership is not required and financial assistance is available.
