Community support needed to thank frontline workers
Olmsted County and City of Rochester leaders are rallying the community to show their support of frontline workers who are working tirelessly to provide critical services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Frontline workers include health care professionals, public health employees, educators, and first responders.
Olmsted County Commissioners Sheila Kiscaden and Stephanie Podulke, City of Rochester Mayor Kim Norton, and Rochester Public Schools Board Chair Jean Marvin have recorded the following video. They will also be sharing this to their respective social media accounts.
Local leaders ask for your support in carrying this message forward. Please share this video and do your part to show your appreciation for our local frontline workers. Some ideas would include home displays (hearts on doors or windows), sending letters or cards of thanks, or sharing messages of gratitude on social media.
