  • News
  • Aug 18, 2021

The Rochester-Olmsted Council of Governments (ROCOG) has released a draft of the 2022-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for a 30-day public comment period. The TIP is a multi-year program of federally funded transportation improvements in the Rochester-Olmsted County region.

The draft TIP will be discussed during the ROCOG public meeting on August 25, 2021 at noon at 2122 Campus Dr SE, Conference Room 186, Rochester, MN 55904. The meeting will also be accessible to the public via Microsoft Teams (Join online meeting). Public comments/suggestions regarding the draft TIP are welcome during this meeting. Note that all persons who choose to attend the meeting in person will be required to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth and seating will be properly distanced.

ROCOG is planning an in-person open house on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Olmsted County Planning Department, 2122 Campus Drive SE, Conference Room A, Rochester, MN 55904. This in-person open house may be postponed or canceled due to the changing circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic.

ROCOG will be conducting two virtual open houses via Microsoft Teams: Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from noon to 1 p.m. Links to the Teams events will be available on the ROCOG website (rocogmn.org).

The draft TIP for 2022-2025, a StoryMap summary of the draft, and the 2021 Annual List of Projects status report are available on the ROCOG web site (rocogmn.org). These materials will also be located at the Olmsted County Planning Department, 2122 Campus Drive SE, Suite 100, Rochester, MN 55904.
