Election assistants needed for Olmsted County's 2022 election cycle
Olmsted County is accepting applications for election assistants to help in the 2022 election cycle.
“A special election to fill Minnesota’s first congressional district seat following the death of Representative Jim Hagedorn is taking place on Tuesday, August 9, 2022,” said Olmsted County Property Records and Licensing Director Mark Krupski. “If necessary, a special primary election will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. We want to start interviews as soon as possible to ensure we have the employees necessary to help Olmsted County successfully administer the election process.”
Twelve temporary positions need to be filled through November 23, 2022.
“Past election cycles have been successful because of the involvement of people in our community,” said Olmsted County Associate Director of Property Records and Licensing Kathryn Smith. “This is an opportunity to serve your community and contribute to democracy.”
