Seven individuals comprise the Olmsted County board of commissioners and their job is to represent Olmsted County residents. Commissioners enact ordinances, approve budgets, and provide leadership and direction to the county.

In 2023, four new commissioners began service on the board. In an effort to get to know our county commissioners better, a new video series was created to highlight more about the commissioners’ personal and professional lives.

Do you know which Olmsted County district you live in, and which commissioner represents you? Just type your address into our election district finder tool to find out!

Links are provided below for each “Meet the commissioner” video.

  • First district – Laurel Podulke-Smith
  • Second district – David Senjem (No video available. See Commissioner Senjem’s webpage on the Olmsted County website.)
  • Third district – Gregg Wright
  • Fourth district – Brian Mueller
  • Fifth district – Michelle Rossman
  • Sixth district – Sheila Kiscaden
  • Seventh district – Mark Thein
