Olmsted County extends late payment deadline for 2020 property taxes to December 31

Olmsted County is giving property owners another two weeks to pay their property taxes before receiving any late payment penalties. The deadline by which to pay your full property tax payment for 2020 is now December 31, 2020. 

This is the third property tax payment extension made by the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners in 2020. The extensions have been made to acknowledge the financial impacts COVID-19 has had on our communities and to help provide relief. 

If property tax payments are not made by December 31, 2020, penalties will be assessed in the New Year.
