Hennepin County is coordinating a regional workgroup charged with developing a plan for youth placement options. Participating counties include Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Ramsey, Scott and Washington in the metro region, plus Olmsted County in southeast Minnesota.

In May 2024, Olmsted County announced the launch of a new community council – Mobilizing Olmsted Voices for Equity or M.O.V.E. At that time, Olmsted County began the recruitment process; now, the county is pleased to announce that 25 members have joined M.O.V.E., and the first meetings of the community council are occurring later this month.
