The Olmsted County Public Works Department along with the Olmsted County Planning Department’s GIS team has developed a new Road Closure Web Application to help travelers access information about road closures, traffic incidents, restrictions, and weather-related events.

The public can access the application via the web on their computer or mobile device, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This application has been designed to help motorists with their commute and contacting Olmsted County Public Works. The application will allow for easier use of important road closures.

Minnesota State Law - Chapter 156 of the Session Laws of 2005 - requires that "a city or county with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its three highest-paid employees." The three highest-paid positions in Olmsted County, as of January 1, 2024, are:

• County Administrator - $243,123
• Deputy County Administrator - $225,345
• County Attorney - $207,326

The HIPAA Privacy Rule states that Olmsted County may use and disclose your Protected Health Information without your authorization for various reasons.
