Olmsted County, Mayo Clinic, and Olmsted Medical Center to share COVID-19 question and answer video on September 2
All Olmsted County residents are invited to submit questions for a COVID-19 question and answer video to be shared on Thursday, September 2, 2021, hosted by Olmsted County, Mayo Clinic, and Olmsted Medical Center.
In this video, Olmsted County Public Health Services (OCPHS) Director Graham Briggs, Olmsted Medical Center’s Dr. Randy Hemann, and Mayo's infectious disease expert, Dr. Eli Berbari will field questions. The panelists will discuss data, vaccine concerns, recommended precautions, and other topics. Speakers will also address misinformation and myths and provide accurate and factual information.
The video released on September 2 will be the first in a series focused on providing Olmsted County residents with answers to questions and concerns regarding COVID-19. Topics for future videos are to be determined.
If you have a question or concern about COVID-19 that you’d like addressed during the September 2 video, please send it to PACSupport@co.olmsted.mn.us by noon on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Note: Due to time limitations for the video, not all questions submitted can be answered. Organizers will aggregate all the questions that come in and speakers will answer those most frequently asked by residents.
To view the question and answer video, go to the Olmsted County Public Health YouTube channel. A recording will be made available to the public.
