If you would like to make a difference in your community, Olmsted County has several volunteer openings on the following advisory boards/commissions:
The Human Services Advisory Board (HSAB) is responsible for making recommendations on the policy, strategy, and other priorities of all social services for Olmsted County. Apply online.
The Extension Committee partners with Olmsted County to deliver practical education and research you can use at home, at work, and in your community. Apply online.
The Human Rights Commission was formed in 1998 to promote equal opportunities in the community and respond proactively to diversity issues. Apply online.
The Planning Advisory Commission provides advice and recommendations to the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners on issues related to land use, transportation, zoning, public improvements, and land development. Apply online.
The Rochester-Olmsted Council of Governments (ROCOG) provides comprehensive planning services to local government units. Apply online.
