What is GAIN?

The GAIN program is intended to enhance the supply of affordable housing options in Olmsted County. Other programs, such as down payment assistance and the community land trust, can and should be matched with GAIN to allow affordable homes to reach potential home buyers with more modest income levels.

People struggling with homelessness and other housing needs have another option for help in Olmsted County.

The Housing Stability Team of Olmsted County opened a satellite office called the Empowering Connections and Housing Outreach (ECHO) Center. The office is located at 206 4th Street SE in Rochester, next to the Rochester Community Warming Center. This office is open by appointment only. Please contact the Housing Stabilty Team at 507-328-7175 for assistance making an appointment.
